How To Send An Anonymous Valentine’s Card
61Sending An Anonymous Valentine Card
There are some occasions when you want to send a Valentine’s Day card and want it to remain anonymous. Maybe you have no intention of taking it further but just want the person to feel good on the day, or maybe you are just too shy or too embarrassed for them to know that it was you who sent the card. You could even just send a card to someone who you think deserves some love in their life.
In any case, gone are the days were you have to go and buy and send a card yourself from your home town, now you can send an anonymous valentine’s card very easily.
All you need to do is to choose whether you want the card sent electronically or by post. Post is often better as it means that the person has a physical card to keep, put up on a mantelpiece, or do whatever they like with. There is also less of an electronic paper trail with a paper card and it may be easier to remain anonymous.
Go On, Make Someone's Day!
So, although it is a little bit more expensive to pay for the anonymity, it is still not going to break the bank. All you need to do is to go to one of the many websites that are selling greetings cards and a lot of them will post it for you, as well as write whatever greeting you ask them to inside. So the great benefit of this is that it will not be your handwriting that the recipient sees in the card and will certainly set them wondering. Also, the card will be posted from the location that the company works from, which is highly unlikely to be where you live (although I guess there is a small chance that it is where you live!).
There are a couple of companies in the UK that will do this for you charitycards.co.uk and funkypigeon.com are just two of them but I am sure there are more. Shop around for a card that really fits the bill (they usually have a good selection although sometimes not as good as in the shops) and you should find something you like. You will pay a few pounds extra for them to write and post it but overall it will probably cost you less the £5, depending on what card you choose, a small price to pay for making someone’s day!
I’m sure there are also online card stores in the US that do the same thing so take a look around and see what you can find.

Pssst. I have a card from you. It's not from me. It's from an anonymous admirer of your hubs. Shhh. Don't tell. Hehehe...just kidding. Fun hub. Voted up.
